Lehmans 10 years on

After the calmer summer break period, September has been busy!

As everyone returns to work feeling refreshed and revitalised, so too does their energy and appetite for new projects. Which is great.

In the midst of all this, however, I read numerous articles about how, 10 years ago, the financial crash and recession that followed began with the downfall of global investment bank Lehman Brothers.

Ah yes, I remember it well. I was working up in London at the time, and was personally impacted through my role at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Here’s my recollection of how it all began and the craziness that followed…
